    It's not a problem for me as I always fill our fender. There is something about the sense of occasion for me that I can't see how I could manage to muck it up.

    We've had a few of these mis-fuels go through here, all through insurance.

    Some of the new Land Rover models have a system to cut off the fuel to the tank when it detects the wrong fuel (might be the Freelander ?).

    I hope so cause I don't quite trust myself yet. Each time I squeeze the trigger I get panic attacks!

    The Mrs once said she was off to the roadhouse get some petrol for the Trytoo.
    WHY I asked???
    Because its just about empty smarty pants was the reply.
    OH I say,for the last 8 years we have owned it its been a diesel.
    Mutter mutter mutter as she walks out the door.
    10mins later she phones,Ive just put 60lts of petrol in Trytoo what do I do????
    You are kidding me!!!!! Push the thing to a parking bay and walk home I will deal with it when Im ready was the reply.

    Apparently the new Mondeo has a system to stop you accidentally putting a petrol nozzle in the diesel.
