Had a phone call late last night, my source close to the action said: "It's off!"
Apparently, a 2008 World Rally Championship round will not be held in SE QLD / NE NSW.
It seems (some of the) the seven deadly sins are the cause, humans stuff up again...
There is some discussion about a round for 2009, with a base at a new motorsport facility which is to be constructed at Norwell QLD. This is apparently on land east of the brewery in the Yatala area.
