Well, we did have some rain this morning. While I was driving down to the village to get the mail. Just enough to make sure I got wet opening the gates. Total = 3mm, and the sun is shining again.

At least the 2a leaked not a drop, although the demisters did not cope too well after I got back in wet.

thats a start hopefully more to come, just watched the news they reckoned we got 3mm here for the day, more like 30 by my gauge.

i'll try to find my frogs and send you some, better still Black dave would have driven through the down pours in ballina and the like it may follow him down to you.

and had a couple of hours of dry yesterday so i slashed the house paddock, got rid of a lot of the residual weeds and the scotch thistle this pm it didn;t even look like i had done it, sorry

Last weekend we had 52mm at the golfcourse on fri/sat and sunday, some spots in Gippsland had over 100mm I heard.

Rangieman and freinds nearly got a bit stuck in a river crossing trying to get out, one of them (Defender tray back) had to go out the long way as it was getting too nasty to cross.

We've had 150mm so far this week, roughly at the rate of 30mm a day. Generally good soaking rain dam levels went up slightly (0.4%). Our local dam received 105mm but is still 11m below full level, still that's better than the 19m below full last year.

By my records this is the 5th wettest year out of the last 20 (mainly due to Junes rainfall)

By my records, the year to date is the third driest in the thirteen years I have lived here - last year was the driest by 90mm, and 2004 drier by 30mm. The wettest year (1998) had well over double the amount this year.

Nice and dry here today, quick shower earlier (around 8:00am) but been dry, sunny since.

Nice day for some skirmish, had the crap shot out of me today (mates 50th) now starting to ache
