Decided i should upgrade my Disco to Celebrity status by attaching a well known sticker with lights so people can see it no matter how dark

And where did you get the lights and brackets from, do you have a close up pic of the mounts?

There are 2 gromets above the doorway next to the door seal that give access into the cavity in the roor lining, wired from the lights, through the gromets and behind the pannelling to the cavity behind the accessory socket in the boot. Power from the accessory socket through a 10amp fuse, relay and to the lights. Ran a switch wire to the little panel above the front cabin light and installed a switch there.

Picked the lights up from Super****, brackets i made myself from 1mm stainless. Each bracket made in 2 parts and bent to allow them to clamp around the gutter with the clamps tightening when the bolts are tightened.

Thanks for that, i have the same lights as you and that looks like a good spot for them.

The brackets appear to hold on really well, i'll be keeping an eye on 'em to see how the gutter holds up to vibration. As far as the lights go, seem really good with plenty of light, good to finally be able to see when reversing.
