would that be the lockers switch ??I had ARB place the switch on the roof console I think it looks good there PITA they tell me though
if so i'd say it would be PITA as well
i like them to be easy to see and feel myself
saves putting your hand up all the time to turn them on and off
130's rule
yeah it is the locker switch it looks good is the only factor
the other thing thats been placed to date on the disco are a set 32 cooper STT which has chunked out after a few tracks
so whats the total cost so far?
I spent $6000 even at ARB for the front and rear lockers the duel purpose compressure Bull Bar Spotties and recovery gear snatch straps shackles EZ deflater puncher kit and a carry bag. The shocks have costed $1400 Shipped. The tyres costed $1500 had to replace the spare that was cactus the other bits and peices $1300
Grand total of $10200 heck now come to think of it I bought the Disco for $14000 thats 80% of the value of the Disco![]()
Sounds good, what size tyres did you go for? i guess next step is 4.11's, 35s and maxidrive reduction gears![]()
Hay Cal
the next step would be stronger shafts and CV 34's as I don't want to cut panels As for 4.11 I just found out that Model 128 lockers from ARB don't except 4.11 unless you machine the sun gearsso ill try to see if I can reduce the hi and low gears in the transfer box but that's further down the line unless something goes pop which I'm really cautious about when I go off road I'm not heavy on the right foot as I needed to be with the Nissan
Went out to Lithgow the other week with a few blokes from the outer limit forum I found that with a bit of clearance there wasn't anything to stop the Disco it performed as well if not better as a GQ with a 2 inch lift and 34 however he wasn't worried as I as he already had every panel damaged
what was excellent on the day was that there where whole bunch of people with brand new rovers RR sports to D3 what my disco did it stuff as on lookers where dazed with amazement obviously new people to the off road world and they will probably never do it again
Do you know what the Valving for the shocks are?
Dave.
