naaah!what are you talking about, there's nothing wrong with defender seats. makes your bum sweat a bit though, in summer. sometimes leaves a mark.
when you've only got 2 windows and no air cond, the floor gets up to near 50 deg on a hot summer's day.

do you reckon you could just hard wire those covers in with a switch so you didn't have to take up your lighter socket

    Bloody easily!

I am going to stick them under my waterproofs and place a button on the centre console.

It would be a good idea to have a plug somewhere in the hardwiring in case they need to removed to clean off foreign matter (In my case, its likely to be a Mc Donalds ice cream or equiv.)

So how do they circulate the air? Convection?? Can someone please buy one and post a review.

Sounds very interesting for the Defender.

Volvo heated truck seats have a two speed fan built in. You can use the fan without the heater to blow air to keep your back cool. Great on hot long drives.

Right, so it's an air-conditioned seat cover, on the Bostrom seat I found in the shed.

Only problem is I may have to cut a hole in the roof.
Bostrom seat on Landy seat box equals no headspace.

    I'll work on that.
