    Tassie What an Interesting Place

Thanks to those who gave me the info on what areas to see in Tassie. What a fantastic place it is down there. In the one week we had you only scratch the surface, 6 months would be more like it.

Great to hear that you had a good time.

Tassie looks small on a map but it is full of interesting places to see and experience.

    Where next?

That is what we found in 1998. Spent three weeks there and could have used a lot more time.

Been to Tassie many times. It's one of the worlds best kept secrets in my opinion.

    I didn't get a phone call BradM???

Glad you enjoyed the trip though!.

Stooge, Timaus13 and I will soon be attempting to offer a 3 track big day out for visitors to the Hobart region, catered and 'guided' and ONLY for Aulro members driving Landys. The three tracks join together to make a fairly long day, and traverse some very varied terrain. Mud, snow, rocks, water, narrow, steep etc. And the photo opportunities are endless.

When we have some interested members, we'll get started.

Feel free to make enquiries via PM etc at any time. All the tracks are close to Hobart, and there are many more we can choose from, some requiring gate keys etc which will need prior arrangement.

I have relo's in Otago Bay (just out of Hobart) so I visit there fairly often, will be there for a few weeks over the xmas period.

I'd love to take the car over sometime next year and to the west coast.

As said, so many secluded places if you know where to go.

Just got back yesterday from our second trip Tassie trip in 2 years, what a ripper of a place.
We flew in did Hobart, Port Arthur, Coles Bay, Launceston and Craddle Mtn.
I have not seen a greater concentration of Defenders any where as we saw around the Hobart area.
Most families play I spy while traveling, my 2 boys play spot the Land Rover

Sounds good Justin - I'll keep it in mind and contact you when we return for another great month on the Isle.
I'm only just getting around to writing the trip report for our trip earlier this year.
