    DooTown - Tasmania

Arrived back from a couple of weeks in Tassie, great place to visit and will go again.

Visited DooTown on our way down south and had to copy the names of the small homes and holiday shacks in the area. Great people and great sense of humour!

We went through there on our trip and had a bit of a giggle.

I can't remember where it was though. We just happened to drive though it on our way to somewhere else.

My grandparents called their holiday house 'Gunnadoo' apparently after going to that place. Although their house is on Coochie Mudlo.

There's quite a few intersting "theme" towns in Tassie.

The letterboxes around Wilmot & the topiary around Railton are worth checking out too.

On the way back from Port Arthur, we saw the arch and the blow hole while kids were asleep in car. What is the Devils kitchen like.
I had been to Port Arthur when I was younger, the feel of the place has changed. The monument to the victims of Bryant is very well done and a good tribute to those that lost their lives.

    Doo town is very clever.
