I cant wait for it to be over ,either.
If Mr, Rudd ( I wonder if he is any relation to those down on our selection. ) wins, it's just going to be
    so wonderful, is'nt it !
    Cheers, I think.

Stand by for a major drama, there's trouble in Qld.

The Ruddskis are running very late for their 'official launch'...

I think most people feel that way but for some reason the pollies just can't see it. Wouldn't it be nice to have a political party with a real vision for the future instead of just their own agenda?

They do have a vision for the future, frenchie,
trouble is, it has nothing to do with we voters,
getting re-elected in 3 years is far more important. eek:

Remember, it's all about power, the pollies couldn't give a tinkers cus about the 80% of the 'dyed in the wool party faithful' voters who'll always vote for one their party - they're in the bag - they're after the undecided 20%...

    Power...

Kim Beazley was dumped, eventually, not because he's a nice bloke, but because he was content with being in the role of the opposition - a no no in politics.

No, you are definitely not on your own there.

I think this is a point lost on the Libs in particular but the pollies desperate for our vote in general.

The electorate has become more fiscally savvy, thanks largely to compulsory super I think, and people are aware that having more disposable income isn't necessarily a great thing.
