Just watch the value of the real Defenders soar when they bring out the plastic ones, the next few years may be a very good time to buy a Defender

Actually, I think your wrong there...

Series owners said the same when the county with its controversial bumper colour and stickers arrived.

County owners said it when the Defender name was introduced.... And the vehicle got a "dash"...

Nope, its going to be the same this time.....

    I'll be buying one....

I have been having the same thoughts.

The article is written by a soft cock desk jockey

"No crash test, tell that to the workers who have to drive it" wat a friggin pussy....I feel sorry for my 4 daughters as real men are a dying breed.
The only good thing is Deefers are some re-buildable , we won't be forced into buying the computer cars of the future when we want just re build em. stuff everyone else ,the Ozone hole is shrinking in size again

I think the next generation of "Defenders" will see a bit more change than stickers or a new dash. What we can buy now will be the last of the true "old school" land rovers, and not a dumbed down Disco with a different rear end.

Would a dumbed down Disco be a bad thing?

D3 chassis, Defender body, options for say air suspendsion and TR. I'd buy one.
