    Day one of the new job

    I survived it
    No flies
    &
    The aircon was a bit too cold

    everyone drinks way too much coffee
    Training schedule says week 1 to observe only argh couldn't do that.
    next two days is Breakfasts at the Casino for Xmas Provided by Suppliers woohoo..hard to take
    Spent half the day in the Office where they have women in short skirts and I was good I didn't ogle or wolf whistle once...7 yrs of working on dirty, man only house sites has had its social effect

    The only negative is I start at 8am and finish at 5pm which is soo different from my start when I like and finish when I can afford too
    Well see if I survive day 2

    Alot of my working time is spent doing building and maintenace at a university. Interesting watching the fashions. 3 years ago, really short tight shorts, last year mini skirts, this year it is really low cut tops. No building workers in shorts with bum cracks. Life is good.

    DD: go with the flow and try and not laugh too much...

    the corporate types take themselves very seriously

    and try and at least show an interest in the training, the company has probably spent lotsa big bucks, acquiring some questionable new idea from some 'has-been' US wheeler...

    get ready for the 'icebreakers', 'circuitbreakers', 'task-games' and other pointless obsolete corporate guff

    I've been working in an office for the last 5 months (shoot me now) and one thing I have noticed is that some people appear to only come to work for the tea and coffee.
