Rodney King is a good example, not too many know the true story of why they did what they did, only saw the horrific footage of the repeated baton strikes and i think he was zapped too. It was all about the mighty scare they had over there at the time regarding PCP users, where you can be contaminated just be getting the persons sweat on you. Nobody wanted to touch him.

So far, Australia is not quite like that.
However from reading clips in the news on child behaviour (bashing others), we are slowly getting there
