More x-rays yesterday and it seems its not broken, just muscle & tendon damage in the ankle and up the shin. Doc & Physo then told me this is probably as bad as a break. But seriously, I had both knees reconstructed and went 4wdriving for a 8 days less than 3 weeks later... Paid the price for that trip!!!!

And back then I was a spritely 28

I'm due to for total knee replacement on both legs in 3 years... I'll still be sub 40 when it happens

Ouch, knees are nasty, I've been fortunate there and not badly damaged them however they still give me grief. Why do we run around in our youth on hard or uneven surfaces, jump up and down, stop suddenly mid-stride? We certainly pay for all these adventures later on in life!
