Smile Things you find in your beer glass

Went to the bar to get a beer, while there i decided to do a bit of a clean up, picked up a Stein i had on top of the fridge to move it over to a new set of shelves i put there and !!!!!

So i put the little guy in the garden

There are alot of these Leaf Tailed Geckos in our backyard and in the house too, this guy is number 4 or 5 now along with the Bleeting tree frogs that i found in the bedroom

Nature, don't ya just love it

    That's great!

I've not seen a gecko (of any species) down near Sydney, so it looks like their range doesn't extend this far south.

Leaf Tail Geckos are native too the small area around the Northern Illawarra and Southern Sutherland Shire, so not a big area.

    50K radius there abouts.

That's fascinating! Are there any other species of geckos in the same/similar area?

There's this guy, you find these everywhere, this pic was taken in the Flinders, but i've seen them near Bourke and our backyard, the only native i do not want to see is the Tiger snakes that are common to the Illawarra escarpment, Pythons are common as well, seen a couple so far and the odd Red Belly too.
