As a new resident of OZ, and soon to be living out in the wilds, we are looking at purchasing a 130 CC. Ideally i would like a 110cc but iam told this is not sold, here, and it would have to meet Transport standards to be driven here, question is is the 110cc the same as the 130cc in specs, other than the overall size? and also the new 2007 Defender does not come with a HCPU back, ( I belive it used to ) can this still be ordered, Land Rover Oz dont seem to be much help.....

I believe the Defenders are virtually the same no matter what configuration. If you want the factory tub you would need to keep your eye out for one second hand. They do come up every now and then. another option would be to convert a 110 to a ute. Land Rover Aust are often not a great help, Depends on the dealer as there are some great ones out there.

if you already own the vehicle you would like to have in Australia, and have done so for more than 1 year, my advice is to import you own vehicle...

So if i can get one from the UK with a HCPU rear tub, then alls well if not it will have to be a second hand one. Any help would be much appreciated as to what year/model would be a good all rounder.
