In Sydney, I've basically given up on waving. Perhaps one reason that I get no response is due to the ARB bar. Maybe the bar changes the front such that people don't recognise it as a LR.
The further I go from Sydney (in NSW at least), the more wave responses I get. This even extends to non-LR drivers (particularly if they are from a rural property).
Best Wishes,

Must be a city thing not waiving, on a diferent note when I am in Sydney and on a walk I say good morning, or gooday as I go along and the reaction is a real laugh, some look the other way, some look startled and reply and very ocasionaly get a genuine reply, oh well that is the big city.
Back home when driving the IIa I get waves from all sorts of vechles, but in the D3 no reply. Thats life.
Cheers Rob

When I drive the stage1, hardly anyone waves back, in the 110 county, mostly only other county drivers reply. In the s11a just about everyone waves......except disco drivers that is! Even had waves from drivers in other makes of car. Great stuff!
cheers
