Took the Disco for a brive through Brissie, up to Tamborine Mountain and back via Beaudesert and waved to every LR I saw...easily a dozen and no hooray back.... think I scared one non-male in a D3.... The wife thinks I'm nuts but one day I'll get a response... she thinks you need both hands on the wheel to keep LRs on the straight n narrow
Ron, with an ADF history I know why you have a Disco. The "real" Landy drivers, in my book are legends, along with the blokes who used to do Darwin in B model Macks.
I'm spending Xmas in Aspley Ron :)so I'd better go and wash the car, I believe it's a no no there. :(
I tell ya this topic get up my nose I get more waves from Mis Annes and Toy motors then I do from Defenders whats the go Def guys you go complain that Disco owners dont wave and when Disco owners wave Def guys dont RR guys wave if you wave first I find anyway :o:)
Thanks Ron,
Car washing is an annual event, it's there for MY benefit not vice versa!!
My kids & grandkids all live down there, I'm an old Northside Boy (Bald Hills)
My eldest, her hubby & their son are moving to Perth early Jan. & I'M coming to make sure they go ;)
Coming back from Wanda beach this arvo along Captain Cook Drive, waved at a Disco coming the other way, and both the husband and wife in the front seats waved back madly!! :)
