I think it depends if there civilians or because they own the thing for its fabulous ability I think Def drivers are just to arrogant (just stirring) I wave at anything off road prepared

    Faith restored!!!!
I was leaving franklins Taren Point last night only to find a nice green Deffie Xtreme pulling up next to the disco.
Out popped it's lovely owners wishing me a merry xmas
We both exchanged envied thoughts of swapping vehicles and went on our merry way.
Coincidentaly, at the servo next door was a nice old series 3 unloading a hire trailer... alas no wave from him, but he was busy
Merry xmas to all and sundry!

In VIC most Def drivers wave back

I am pretty new to the Landy wave thing and have found that in my Defender nearly all other Defender drivers in Victoria wave.

Not once have I had a Disco, RR driver wave so I don't try.

Only when drivers of Defenders have not noticed me in my Defender have they not waved. Even I have been focussed on other things and didn't notice another Defender driver waving (sorry if it was any of you....)

May the wave be with you.

Well saw a nice maroon (probably similar to Rimini Red) 90 on Taren Point road, made a point of waving to him, but just got a blank look back .

I read this post a few days ago and made a point to take notice of how many waves I get back.

I have generaly waved at most Disco and Defender owners. We drove down to Augusta from Perth yesterday and back up home today. And sad to say we didn't get one wave from any of the other Disco owners. But we did get a wave from the one and only Defender we saw.

Thumbs up Got my first wave today!

I know it's probably wrong to dredge up old threads, but I got my first LR wave today!!!!

Was on the Pacific Hwy near Macksville when a family in a green Disco towing a caravan passed. The guy driving near fell out the window with the wave he gave me!

I'd been trying to get a response all day and was mighty chuffed to finally get a wave back, even a deefer driver didn't bother

With my first one under my belt i finally feel like I belong

Can't wait for the trip to Cooma
