Nah! The biggest were bigger than golf balls. Disco_owner wouldn't let me take the carpets out of the house to cover my car (some host ).

PS: I've had a look at my car today and its got such a dented roof & bonnet that my fuel consumption will go up.

i haven't really checked mine thoroughly either but don't particularly care about dents , it's got that many battle scars that I reckon Hail damage on roof and Bonnet would't be much noticeable.

    Hey Man,
    I consider it my plushmobile.

But seriously, while I was out the front, talking with my neighbour about the damage, the MD of the local Toymotor dealership showed up to drop off a part to my neighbour which was a warranty replacement (the part, that is ). He glanced at my car & said "I see you've got some hail damage".

Then he showed us the damage to the car he was driving (a Kluger that he'd "grabbed" off the lot). The damage was quoted at $3.5k, not including the concoidal (like a cut onion) fracture to the windscreen. I've not seen such a fracture in a windscreen before.

Apart from the windscreen, the damage to my bonnet & roof is worse.

I've tried to get onto my insurers, but keep getting the message that "Due to the hail storm they are receiving a higher than usual calls" & would I like to ring back later.

Unfortunately, as I write this, I can hear thunder.
