    Coober Pedy or Lightning Ridge???

    Has anyone ever had a mining lease at either the 2 above Opal fields? Or does anyone know where I can get some info on how to obtain a lease to mine in either of these areas? Any info will be appreciated, Regards Frank.

    got a mate that has a lease at coober pedy, he travels up from tassie to work it for about 6 months of the year. He's been at me for 20 years to head up with him, sounds like hard work to me. Havnt seen him for ages, will see if I can track him down and get some contact details to pass on.
