At least your guy knew the difference between clearing the fault and fixing the problem.

I took the disco back 5 times under warranty with this issue and the first four times their answer was "We could see the fault logged in the ECU, we have cleared the fault log". When I asked what caused the fault they would look at me blankly and state the fixed it by removing the error from the log". So every few days I would take it back and say it happened again and ask that they fix what was causing it and we would go through it all again. After three weeks and me explaining that when the lights are on and when I am trying to get up a steep dirt hill I actually lose TC, they actually worked out that perhaps something was wrong and replaced the ABS sensors.

Either they were stupid or they thought I was. Probably both.

I feel like I've got it good now DiscoStew. Mind you Ian at parra L.R is pretty good I think. Well, I don't think he works on the vehicles but his guys are good then. But as the front man he does a great job, explains everything and listens to me explain the problem which I'm sure would test the most patient person. So after hearing your dilemma I feel pretty good about mine!
