"help" 4wd Tracks And Camping Spots

    Hi all

I HAVE POSTED THIS UNDER TASMANIA REPORTS AS WELL HOPING FOR MORE REPLYS.

Now I was wondering if everyone could post up tracks that they know of around the Hobart area I.E. within 150km that don’t need keys to enter.

We all know the normal ones i.e. Jeffery’s white timber etc but what about the not so well known ones.

I’ve been looking for a good one for months so I can go off for day trip or overnight camps it also needs to be next to or not far from a river for fishing water etc.

And as you all know Jeffery’s etc aren’t the place to go camping over night and are a bit boring.

So maybe someone could enlighten me of some tracks that are worth an overnighter or day trip.

    Cheers
    Brendon

Also check the Tasmanian Parks website - about 25 tracks listed, some behind locked gates but accessable with easily obtained permits.

Yes - I thought that when I read all the posts/s and realised where he was from.
Maybe it will be helpful to other AULRO members planning a trip down south.
I know that we found it very helpful when planning our trip earlier this year.
