    Newbie :)

Stepping into the world of the Landrover!!

Ive been driving the 110 for a few years off and on with the army... I figured it time to own one of my own!

Currently got my eye on a '93 Defender, which looks good on paper & in the photos.......

What should i be looking out for... if anything?!?

    Cheers

    G'day.
I use that name (spelled bate) on another forum.
A '93 fenda would have a 200tdi engine I think, mine has a 300tdi so I can't offer much advice on that score.
Excessive "backlash" or slack in the drivetrain can require a lot of little bits & pieces to fix, are you mechanically minded? If so you can do most of it yourself but there could br work needed in the gearbox/transfer case.

    Welcome

    G'day snailbait.

Welcome aboard. I dont know about defenders but all I can say with qualification is....

    DISCO's RULE

Ask any one from the 70's

Seriously though buy a disco. Once you own a fender you start waving madly at other LR drivers, you stop by the roadside to chat aimlessly for hours, your bum goes outta square. All afflictions you could do without

Mate, enjoy yourself & enjoy doin it in the dirt. The best fun x four x far.

    Cheers
