    New Addition

    Well....

    I bit the bullet and sold my trusty 200 Defender and have slid inot a 2006 TD5 ... Had a 99 TD5 Disc ... and some trouble, but am hoping l won;t see the same with the Defender!

    Got it for $36,000 46,000kms. Window tint, duel batts, A/C, 12V sockets everywhere (done properly) and few other bits and pieces. Full serv hist.
    Stil under Fact warr ....

    The Disco!
    - Cracked chasis
    - Overheater the motor (!!)
    - ABS sensors
    - HDC issues
    - Rear air suspension issues
    - Wiring harness issues (oil)

    and l could go on.....


    I think l have learned a lot since the Disco days - so l will most likely avoid many of thses pitfalls with the Defender....


    My mate just bought an 07 Fender....always go to go one better than me!!
