Finding a Defender 90 roof in Oz?

So, I'm form New Zealand and I've got a 90 that fell over and needs a new roof Trouble is that 90s are rare over here and finding a second hand roof for sale is even rarer, so I'm thinking I'm going to have to look else where, the UK is a good chance but shipping would be a killer. So my question for all you experts in Oz, what are the chances of finding a roof for sale over there? What sort of money should I expect to pay for a tidy one?

    Cheers Guys.

90s are even rarer in Australia than in NZ, although the higher population means there may be nearly as many, or perhaps more (but spread over a much larger area). They were only sold for a few years, plus a few individual imports, so the chances are not good - but there is still the possibility of there being one available - a front end collision could easily write one off without damaging the roof, and the demand for roofs is probably pretty small, as they would only be wanted in the case of a rollover leaving the vehicle repairable; or where someone has made a mistake in the overhead clearance.

Why not put a wanted ad in the markets section here? Not much chance, but you never know!

    D90

    Ute it

    Before

    After

Soft top could be an option, North American spec 90's do look nice. The main thing to rememer is it's a Defender, just treat it like a big Meccano set

try rova craft (kraft?) in west oz they have some pommy import bits, but the easiest and cheapest way is to shorten a 110 roof.

Theres a Land rover wrecker on the sunshine coast with a 90 that is in perfect nick, but stat write off due to salt water flooding. Perhaps worth a call.
