    Opinions sought, please.

    It's a question of aesthetics.

We'll take it as a "gimme", that the new under-side protection for my S3 Changer, shall be of 2.5 mm steel checker-plate, coz it "fell" off the back of a truck.
These guards will have ventilation slots cut into them.
The question is just what do I use to protect the slots.

    I have a choice of 3 materials.

1 PSP. Perforated steel plate, ex-hammer-mill screen.

    2. Expanded mesh, in 3 different gauges. Erm, fell offthe.

    3. Woven steel mesh, ex-quarry crusher screen.

See photo attached for all materials sitting together.

I have trouble with "frou-frou", what do you reckon looks best in combination.

    Edit; whoops, forgot photo.

That's right, don't need a "little" stick to go through a sump.

But I did ask for opinions on what you may think looks best.

That's the woven mesh. It's bloody tough.
I'd actually been leaning that way. Plenty of EXP-mesh in use around.
Don't see a lot of woven steel.

Once cut to shape, Kill-Rusted, and painted, it came up looking pretty good as the gas gear protective cage, in the Red Bus.

    Nope. It's predecessor, the F'n 100.

Never, never, never, gonna buy another American piece of anybloodything.

Could not even drive down the sand hill out into the paddocks, without needing pulling out.
    Useless.
