    Ah!
I man with taste for the unusual.

Some times I wish I still had the D Super.
It was the smoothest cruiser I have ever owned.
Great design for wind resistance, could sit on 100kph and get 30 mpg. Sit on 160kph and it did 21 mpg.
Tow a trailer with a high object in it, no guts and soaks fuel. A true testomy to aerodynamics.

They can also drive around with one wheel off at the rear, did that in Townsville. One of the neighbours got such a shock he nearly ran over his foot with his lawn mover

The Citroen flew over bumps and gutters like they never exhisted. Gee I miss it

Yes I to missed a couple, allowable at my age. VF valiant slant six, VF Valiant V8 318 two door and Susuki Katanna 1100.

I had the first Mach III. It handled pretty crook, I think it had a couple hinges in the frame. Had a power band that was dynamite (4000RPM ) and a twin leading shoe front brake that faded badly after five secs.

    I wish I still had the CB750.

    Regards

    Me

    1, 67 Ford Falcon XR 500 Wagon
2, 71 Ford Falcon XY GS Panel Van (wish I had kept this one)
    3, 66 Valiant VC sedan
    4, 73 Toyota Landcruiser FJ40 (had 74 4sp box in it)
5, 77 Ford Cortina Wagon 2lt (sold as to slow)
6, 84 Ford Falcon XE (ex police c.i.d)
7, 77 Ford Fairlane ZH (insurance company wanted it back)
8, 71 Ford Falcon XY GS Panel Van (worst thing I did I bought it back and sold it again)
9, 86 Ford Fairmont XF (first family car no family though)
10, 68 Mini (sold after a month got a company car)
11, 86 Ford Couier ute (drove it like I stole it)
12, 87 Ford Falcon XF S pac wagon (family arrived with this one)
13, 77 Toyota Landcruiser FJ55 (still have a soft spot for this shape but a real rust bucket)
    14, 76 Ford Fairlane Marquis ZH (I didn't learn)
15, 85 Toyota Four Runner (last of the live axle front and rear)
16, 85 Range Rover (finally got some sense) Sold as got company car
17, 97 Land Rover Discovery SE7 TDi auto (was company car, owned for 6 years)

    Wife

1, 76 Ford Escort (spent more time off road broken than on)
2, 76 Ford Falcon Coupe (Continental option, totally standard apart from radio. Insurance officer hadn't seen a coupe without mags and fat tyres, Holley carb and extractors)
3, 76 Ford Fairmont Coupe (just sold)

I thought I had owned more than that, and even if I include my wife's cars
I get a lower number than I thought,

Oh well it is keeping me honest
