Not to sure if they have used it on this concept car . But they have brought out a touch panel you just press your fingers on and it acts as the door release . seen it used on the show Overhaulin .

    Telepathy?

Or maybe you have to do EVERYTHING with your iPhone. I hope they haven't based the entire car around that stupid device.

Does anyone trust LR electrics to have it open the door for you?
I have enough trouble with the central locking but at least I can use the key if need be

I think that car's sexy...I want one. I dont often see cars and say that. But wow...

Maybe the door locking mechanisms are a bit like boot releases on a lot of newer sedans. Hit the button and it pops open. Could be remote controlled? That would be kinda cool actually!

Door releases are concealed in the car's shoulders

Ummm . . . but where do you bolt on the jerry-can holders . . . and attach the snatch strap . . . and what does the bullbar look like? You know, for the off-road adventures it's obviously meant for!

Snatch strap... Wash your mouth out. (Remember that even the tow point on the Freebee is rated to 1.5 x vehicle weight.)

There was supposed to be an embargo on these pics until the Detroit Motor Show... However, the pics were leaked by a journalist.

I have to say that it does look rather sexy and just imaging what something that small & light could be capable of if fitted with air springs.

...in fact, I wonder how something like that would behave as a rally car???

When you say 'rally'; Bowler and LRX come to mind. There are some intriguing parallels between the two.
