I'm going the skinny theory, like Wally.

Hasn't happened to me yet, but of course now I've pointed that out....

In about eighteen years of climbing in, out and around our County, now Defender, it's never happened to me.

With the exception of my brother (who's like a beanstalk, only goes up), the rest of us sit with the driver's seat pretty much all the way forward. So when we go to get in, to get caught on the door catch involves either missing the seat, or some impressive gymnastics.
So that's three for the 'skinny theory'.

It usually grabs you in a pocket.

But having said that, it's never happened to me either (another skinny bloke).

Only had mine 2 months - but no ripped dacks - but I'm another trim fella.
Maybe Fenders should be driven nude.

    The latch

18 stone and ripped pants, also seat belt manages to cover the latch and stops the door from closing at times.
