Thread: No longer the only one...

Well I guess it had to happen, there is now another Disco 2a in town. This one's black. SA rego, so not as nice as my Monty Carlo Blue one but it means I'm not the only one with that model, I'm no longer unique

Perhaps I will have to get the only D3 in town as someone's already ordered an 07 Defender.

As an aside, and probably because I live in a remote town dominated by Tojo's and Patrols, it's been interesting to note that in the last several months the number of D1's and D2's arriving in town with people moving here has increased significantly. I put this down to the fact that a D1 or D2 is a far cheaper option that a 80 or 100 series diesel of the same vintage.

Green 110 Extreme's and Red 130's look on but if it's all about looks then the late model D2's in black looks awsome but I'd never own one.

White's a terrible colour up here, the bauxite dust stains the paint and if you aren't pedantic about cleaning and polishing the car it will take on a pinky tint after a few years. Other colours are better as they don't show this discolouration.
