Moving to Melbourne - Keen to be shown some tracks

    Hi guys,
Come late January, I'll be packing my Landie and doing the drive all the way down to Melbourne as I have landed a job down there (WOO my first F/T job!) So obviously my car isn't a city car and I will mainly save it for the weekends. Would be good if I could arrange with some people to show me the tracks around the area... Is there good tracks down there? I'll probably be based at Wheelers Hill.

There are plenty of good tracks within around an hr or so from where you are and within 3 hrs you could be in the middle of the renowned High Country.

There will be plenty of folks on here that will show you around, it really depends on what sort of stuff your after, about the only thing we dont have much of in Vic is sand but we have plenty of Mud and plenty of Rock as well as plenty of stuff for your average weekender with great camping etc.

There are plenty of good clubs down here too if your into that sort of thing that is one way to get to know your way around a new area and are normally made up of helpfull and easy to get along with people.

    Good luck

I know exactly what you have in mind there Chris lol

If Chris says Larbertuche to you, dont go in the wet.

I havnt done it yet but I have seen pics and vids and it does look like fun.

Ive been out with Chris and it was a lot of fun and he doesnt like to break things either although 1 member on here had a little trouble with a log on one of their trips but they all got home ok.

Also as he has a Deefa, any time he has to take 2 bites at something you can get into him about it over and over again when the unlocked Disco behind him drives it no worries

I have the Vid's as proof but I cant upload them as Im on dial up and I dont have days to wait for them.

I dont like leading groups but I'll be happy to tag along on any trip you do.
