Breaking News - Police have solved all crimes

They were out in force yesterday in Perth clamping down on illegal activities which affect the very root of social problems, in the christmas spirit of fund raising for the policeman's ball they were targeting jay walking and resting your arm on the door while your window is wound down.

Other criminal activities such as grannie bashing, drugys breaking and entering, drink driving, GBH, murder, bank jobs and vandalism have all been dealt with and they no longer pose a threat to society.

So if you want to buy your local force a round of drinks this christmas then all you need to do is walk across the street when your not supposed to and an officer of the law will kindly relive you of your money in the christmas spirit of giving.

HAHA love it.. well put mate

In our local Tamborine Mountain Newspaper the cops wrote a column about problems with people flashing others when they have their radar out. They said they will have police on bikes booking people who flash. " its disappointing that people are warning others of a radar by flashing their lights, we can't do our job properly if this continues" . Thats what the tool said!

I know speeding is not right but they put their radar on the bottom of one of the steepest hills on the mountain where you have to break all the way down to keep under 60kph. Just plain rude

Tell 'em the contacts in your dipper/flasher switch are dodgy! And that you're new switch is on order...As soon as it gets there your lights will stop being retarded!

In the county mine'll occassionally HB flash someone when I indicate... completely unintentional but the result of old age!

It's good to see all my tax $'s being spent on such serious crime reduction.

Still, it's not like they're the only police force in the world that prioritise revenue grabbing and "solving" simple "crimes" to improve their statistics over the real issues that the public paying their wages actually care about.

Reminds me of a situation I was told about by a policemen I know from my sons saturday morn activity.

As Werribee station is chronically undermanned (Deputy PM's electorate) police take a while to respond from other precincts if the local wallop is already attending.
So it has become common for hoons, scurry and the less desirable to report or feign a serious crime on the far western fringes of the district simply to soak up local police resources.
They then go about their dastardly deeds locally knowing that distant police are ages away and there is no urgency to rush their crime.

    Beggars belief doesn't it.

Ralph thats an oldie been going on for years,
funny I thought the old arm protrude went out years ago, why you ask, well for a body part to protrude it has to be out a fair way and the indicator used to be the outside mirror, that was ok when they were small but these days they are huge, interesting its an easy one to beat.
