Hi there
I am also working right through - with my first dayshift on Christmas Day.
We should have a get together - even use the chat room.
All the best

Yes me too (security patrol's), working for the next 4 nights 20:00--06:00..........Then do 4 more nights from next Monday night....yep thats right new years eve......
But as there are not many people hang around here for new years ie too boring and head to the coast it should be fairly quiet. Well lets hope anyway

Hi all
I have been working shift work for over 22 years and have worked more than my share. How ever this year I have chrisy day and boxing day off, fun and party with the kids. The weather is going to be cooler this year in Alice only about 31c or so.
Marry christmas to all.
Yup I'm working all the public holidays which I volunteered to do (money's good) then off to Coral Bay on the 4th Jan for two weeks to enjoy the spoils.

Yep i'm here at the moment and will be here tomorrow, seems allot of people like to fly this time of year, makes you feel good when you fix one of the planes out here in the desert as you know that a few hundred people will get to see there families on christmas day. I do feel for the 4 families who's dogs got left behind because the baggers made a screw up, and for some reason Qantas doesn't ship animals on christmas day? go figure? Just hope none of the dogs were christmas presents.
Cheers from the Desert
