Tis the day after, the aftermath has been cleared away, one boy took off to Tamworth with his mates, one other has shot through back to his nymphos house, this leave me, my lovely wife and youngest boy to enjoy 2 weeks with no arguments, house smelling of ciggy smoke, fighting, messy lounge, even messier kitchen big pile of stinking shoes right at the foot of the door, so on to more enjoyable things, hi ho hi ho off to the series one we go! with tools in hand, the rain has gone now. You all sound like you did very well, I hope you enjoy your remaining time off and get some quality time in with the ones that matter, our condolences to the few who must work over the break, you have our admiration

I got a Sidchrome spanner and socket set, Matthew Reillys new book, new cologne, alcohol, alcohol holder (Bundy bear ornament) and a giftcard for DSE et al.

Oh, and I gave myself a subscription to 4WD Monthly, so they could give me an ARB snatch strap for Christmas

Our kids did well (as always) but my wife and I decided that we had spent so much on camping gear recently (including the trailer) that we really didn't need anything else.
My Father-in-law did give me a set of circlip pliers - no more screwdrivers and swearing anymore!

Our present to each other was ducted cooling for the house. ( we might need it later this week ! )
.... but did get a new axe to replace the one I stuffed on the hut rebuilding ..... and a gardening book and and an Anaconda voucher.

But the best present is just having the family and friends around ...
