    G'day Numpty's Missus

And it also snowed in Queen St Brisbane in winter 1939, there was pics in the Courier Mail I believe.

    G'day Ron

What they possibly sent was pics of sand blowing, and coating the trees looks like snow at a quick glance, mid 20's here but high winds on the coast and there would be a LARGE sand blow problem

    cheers Folks

I'll bet its foam off the sea all over the foreshore, windy as hell here and I'm 120kms as the crow flies from the ocean.

it snowed in queen street in brissy during the late seventies or early eighties not sure of the exact date....

the snow never made it to the ground but was clearly visible on the sills etc of buildings 2 or 3 floors up.
