    G'day MuddyMech

A shielded spark plug from a 24 volt Ex-MOD Landrover, could be Lightweight, or 101 in 24volt

Could be ex Ferret, Champ, Saladin.

    cheers

G'day All, I remember seeing an aircraft plug a long time ago and it looked like that, so I will have another guess and say Lycoming (sic) engine, but probably something exotic like a Pratt n Whitney radial, cheers Dennis

It looks like the guts of a kitchen/bathroom tap. The splines at the top holds the handle. The thread in the middle is for the cover to screw down on to, and the thread at the bottom goes into the seat of the tap, holding the washer in place.

I'm with you, has it a hole in the base, thats where the tap washer goes.
