Misses just bought a Cannon EOS400. Fantastic bit of kit. We were travelling at 100+, she picked up the thing and snap snap snap got a perfect set of a Wedgetail taking off from the side of the road. Perfect focus, no blur, looks like an attenborough nature shot

Like you said, point and shoot with these modern digital SLR cameras, they do all the hard thought for you, instantly.Its just up to you to choose the composition etc.

Best $$$ we have spent in years.
