    new job

    just started a new job a couple of weeks ago.The roster is 8 days on 8 days off
    a bit hard having a week off after a week at work
    but the 50% increase in wage won't go astray!

    I was going to say mining as they are about the only one's on a roster like that except say off shore rigs they also go week on week off.

    Good luck in the new job mate.

    I have also doubled my wages in a new job and am loving it. It took trying 8 careers and 15 Years to find one that actually pays the proper rate with all the penalties and extras. Its actually the job I wanted to do right from the start of leaving school.
    Just goes to show pushy parents that think they know what is best for you and push you in to other careers is not always the best thing to do, follow your heart it doesnt lie.
