Rainbow Beach \ Fraser Island Beach Conditions

I'm about to head up (along with BeforeTheVision) to Rainbow Beach for a weeks camping and then possibly a few days camping on Fraser.

I was wondering if any members in the RBB area could tell me what the beach and track conditions are like?

Mate the place still has a partial closure on it. Check the conditions report and I'd advise you to ring a ranger to confirm

I was planning on the beach route but BeforeTheVision isn't coming up untill later on so I think I'll take the higway... I don't trust myself enough even though I've got a mate in a Patrol tagging along.

You can barely get through the beach way at low-low-low tide. Even then last time I had to time the waves to get around fallen trees.

I think now you'd be about 4 foot underwater at low. Once again, give the rangers at rainbow a tingle.
