Any tin boat owners done this?

Was thinking about the fun we used to have in the NT as littlies and how much time we spent on the rivers up there chasing barra, we had 12 foot Dolphin dinky which had an air cooler 5hp mariner, never went fast but it nver stopped ever, I remember watching dad fry an egg on the forepeak cover, cooked it like a stove, the seats of the dinkys used to get real hot, I remember dad lowering himself to sit and wearing those old footy short type stubbies, anyway one of the jatz crackers was dangling and it did get burned on the seat, I can hear the scream still! bloody funny though

I do know of a fella whom painted a dark teflon type looking patch on his tinny that he used to cook (more heat stuff up on). I never seen it in action but he used to half cook ham and warm meat loaf on it... The only real cooking he claims to have done with it is a couple of peices of whiting fillets cut very thin.

I have had the misfortune of geting a small heat shock on my tinny but it cools quickly (looses heat fast), I can't see myself being able to cook anything off it...
