Emirates Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa
Read an article in today's Sun Herald Travel section....The Emirates airline group are developing a resort and spa facility in the Wolgan Valley, costing in the vicinity of $100 mill.due to open in 2009.
From the article.....
"Accomodation will be limited to 80 guests..." and ..."the resort will be limited to four helicopter flights per week so as not to disturb the serenity of the sanctuary..."
Anyone else read about it? Any thoughts? Found a link here...Australia Wolgan Valley Resort and Spa - Emirates Hotels and Resorts

Yeah, they have bought Webb's old property & have already upgraded the poor old road into Wolgan ( just not the gap as yet), cut batters & put in better drainage which is a bonus for all the people who live there.
Most of the guests will be coming in by Helicopter as you do in a six star resort.
They will be fully self contained with power & water, they will also be making sure the native flora & fauna flourish in the area as well.
All in all not a bad thing overly, more work for the area & I'd say I will be driving a Franna there as they build it, what a shame.........
