So Rovercare, please feel free to cruise on past, as no doubt we would have a difference of opinion on recovery techniques, and you would get upset when we didn't do it your way.
As my better half said, it was her opinion that she prefers Land Rovers for their longevity, charisma, history and the comaraderie of the type of people who seem to drive Land Rovers.
It's my opinion that straight out of the box, any make of Land Rover (excluding Freelander), would leave all Jap crap for dead in what they were designed to do, which is to get from point A to point B over rough terrain.
Notwithstanding this basic fact, I do not like Jap ****. Everything they have made, they have either stolen, or were given the patents at the end of the second world war. I do not like it when a Jap vehicle parks on my driveway. My acquaintances have been informed of this, and they park in the road. If I possibly could, I would not have anything Japanese in my house.
Despite this, I would never refuse or cruise on by any make of vehicle in distress, either in the bush, or on the road, as anyone who has been bush with my family, would I am sure, attest to. There have been numerous occasions where we have assisted or controlled the recovery of perfect strangers. Maybe we should follow the Bushido code and just "cruise on by".
