    jungle gym land rovers

Why is it kids will leave a complete land rover alone and won't even look sideways at it . But as soon as you take a spanner to it and remove one panel it turns into a jungle gym . I was pulling apart my donor landy for my project and out of nowhere i got my 3 kids swinging off everything and yankin on the steering wheel trying to beat Garth Tander to the next corner I guess it goes to show that a whole family loves a land rover

Whats your secret? I ask for help and they all bugger off in different directions, why cant I leave a spanner on the floor and expect it to be there in the morning and not hanging out the dogs ear or something? Landys with me are a me affair and thats it, my wife hates them, my kids wont be seen in or near them, thats ok I have my pride, I love my Landy even if knowone else does.

I have no trouble with the family helping with the landy . All the kids love undoing bolts for me and my wife has been around them since she was an ankle biter . So it's easy to get away with buying bits when i need to

G'day All, Whenever someone comes to visit I stop work, as I don't like interuptions. I have a Grandson 2 y.o. who loves to be around you but I always manage to get rid of him as he takes things shoves them in holes in the chassis etc, I generally work alone and only ask for help when bleeding brakes, and the odd time when it's impossible to reach around something i.e. B/head to attach nut and bolt.
I like to do things in a specific order with dismantling/restoring and rebuilding, that way the job gets done with no back tracking, cheers Dennis

My missus loves land rovers and has been around them since the age of 2 . She loves getting out in the bush and getting covered in mud and having a drive herself ( i hate that part ) . I may have to build a second landy lol

I hate it when I get "help" I am very particular about rounded bolt heads and I am often inundated with offers to help but say the best help is to sweep the floor. This usually empties the garage quick smart.
