Fortunately its not that bad locally, but its still too high.

    What's going on ?

Even 6 months ago when I bought my Rangie the LPG price was in the low fifties.

I didn't think LPG was quite so affected by crude oil prices or the US Dollar.

Oh dear me, how aweful for you.

You want to try getting a mortgage on a tank full of diesel in SA mate. cheapest in my region is 152.9 CPL. thirty kilometer's away.

Diesel in a farm district. And we have to make a living and feed you in the city, and appease the be damned bank manager,, Ah bugger it I'm going down the pub.

Guys, we all missed the warning signs...

    $2000 rebate for those converting...

What happens is lots of people convert to LPG, then the demand goes up and the Government steps in and raises the price....

just another way to F U K us over.........

Its like your water tank rebate... dont get it... if you do your registered and they will come knocking for your extra water....

Before they used to take it out back remote Australia and burn it.

Now they have their fat finger in the pie!
I agree with sclarke, when we moved to Bris we got an old water tank from the farm and my Dad said not to bother wit the rebate as they would be able to smell the pie from a mile away and know where to find it (so to speak).

    How frustrating!

How much petrol doesa v8 county use per 100k. How many litres of lpg does it use in the same conditions?

Petrol is about 18-20L/100 and LPG is about 24-26L/100

Not worth the conversion if LPG hits $1 per litre
