I guess there may be something in the combination of the research system , extractors , manual gbox, 4.3 ( higher comp ) and being gas only .
Though i think the main things are the research manifold the the 4.3 and i pressume , the country covered is fairly easy going ?
Was the ignition modified in any way from std , other than i would pressume advance the timing ( dissy rotation ) ?
Would you have a pic of the underbonnet you could post , i pressune the twin carby part was cut off the manifold to adapt the research ?
Your worst 4klm/ltr is the same as the fig given by mark2s 4.3 .
Dirtydawg at 3.6K/L , could possibly find improvment , which is the worst , so far .
Our D/Fuel Impco set up gives a bit better than 5klm/l on average but will give better and has room to improve and it`s pushing through an economy/power sucking T/F auto and is 4.0ltr .
