Top gun plug leads , it was losing cylinders on big hills under full load (like about 4grand on the tacho) soon as you backed of it it was fine.
I have 2 cylinders wrong I just don't know which 2. Hence the need to see a numbered coil pack pic or something.... fill in my attached pic.
I need to know (facing the engine) which coil pack goes to which plug???

does this sound correct
Top of coil pack
2 3 4 7
8 5 6 1
after 2 hours of moo poo, I have the answer.
Driver side to passenger side. Top: 8 5 6 1
....................................Bottom: 2 3 4 7
So now it's safe to change your own plug leads, just be warned that it's a pain in the ar$e to get your hands in behind the engine!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Twicthy, Im in the middle of converting my 4.6 to coil packs (its on a 93rrc with a wolf 3d computer). Are you please able to tell me the cylinders that are paired together with the factory set up ie:
as per you diagram:
8561
2347 is it 8+2, 5+3 6+4 and 1+7, or is it 8+5, 6+1, 2+3 and 4+7?
Im need to set my car up with a wasted spark config but im having trouble determining which too cylinders should be firing at the same time, as i have one book that says the wasted spark is fired on the exhaust stroke of the non firing cylinder and the other says it the two cylinders that and companions firing together.....
any help (from anybody) greatly appreciated
cheer
Luke
EDIT:
found the answer its:
8+5, 6+1, 2+3 and 4+7
