I have sent an enquiry. Anyone in the area know of a LR specialist nearby that could do an independent inspection, if it comes to that ?

Cheers for that, spoke to the dealer who said, they would only discount 2k, as it was a Land rover dealer, i asked why such a high price when other of the same are 1ok cheaper, he said because it came with a land rover warrenty ( 10ka alot for that i thinks ) and he said they dont use Glasses guied to value it, they go on what the markets is doing, which is 30k, so all together a complete Knob i thought.

when I bought my defender,it was advertised for $21 grand,offered him $18 grand ,and that what I got it for..........but thats years ago,still got it
