    Tracks near Bundeena (NSW)

    Hi all,

I'm going away to Bundeena for the long weekend and was wondering if anyone knows of any nice easy tracks in the area?

I want to try and get a bit of 4WDing in while I am down that way in between all relaxing on the beach snorkelling.

    Cheers!

I thought Bundeena was surrounded by the Royal National Park - hence no 4wding except on the sealed roads.

Closest offroading to Bundeena would be Appin or in a boat fishing

Even Appin is a no go at the moment

I love walking along the beaches and some aboriginal art over there too.

Deer pool is nice when the water is up and also Little Marley and Big Marley which is not a big walk (depending on what you think is a long walk I guess). But swimming is only in Little Marley from memory but you can get all that info easily anyway.

Just make sure you get a map of Royal National. The real fun is in Heathcote National I think,

Just one thing... IT will be so freakin packed and their use to often be a lot of theft so be careful of little things you own.

Funny you should mention flash backs!!!

One day when I was 11 I was camping with a friend of the same age at Deer Pool and we decided to do a night walk to Marley (about 1.8km away). Any wayz, we were standing on Marley beach with dolphin torches and were shining them at far away trees. Then we saw what looked like hundreds of alien eyes light up all of a sudden and the ground start to shake and the eyes were getting closer and closer.... So we were shocked, 11 year old guys thinking ****, it's all over we are about to be abducted. And then we ran and ran as fast as we could.... a few minutes later we realsed it was just Deer. hahahaha. We were so freaked out that night.
