    Guess it must be a coiler.........too much overhang for air suspension IMO.

    A Limo for a work vehicle, around 65K for the car and what for the conversion? then to be used as a "tradies" vehicle??

    I guess it will be written off in tax.

    Very comfortable way to get around.

    Had a quick chat with Laingleys at the 4x4 show and to have a trayside single cab D2 converted costs $12,500

    The thing you have to remember with these is that the body shell is now integral to the structure of the vehicle.

    Wish I knew this 3 months ago. Would have done it to my D1. A ute without the Fender road noise. Cheaper to.

    Why is that? I wouldn't think the choice between coil and air suspension would change because of overhang. Surely it is just a matter of correct spring rates for the load.
