    Red face learning to 4wheel drive

    hi,
    please helpjust learning 4wheel driving and have questions. what gear and range would i use to go through 50m of knee high mud? i have a 85 range rover with 33inch maxis.

    in mine i'd go with 3rd low range.....
    and of coarse CDL engaged

    Hi Shift,
    I don't see where you are located, but if you need to ask such questions, I suggest you join a 4WD club (preferably LR) & attend a few training sessions. They teach you heaps about your LR & what it can do.

    15psi, low box, CDL in tow straps tied to the recovery points and securely lashed up on the hood and the gate Third gear on the main box a good run up keep it nailed.
